Anna K. Pfaehler joined Palisades Hudson in 2006 after graduating with honors from Vassar College, where she majored in economics and minored in mathematics. She was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon honor societies. A native of Ft. Wright, Kentucky, Anna is based in our Scarsdale office.

Anna attended the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) during a year-long study abroad program. While attending LSE she was a member of the Women’s Rugby Football Club, the Women in Business Society, the Marketing Society and the Finance Society.

At Vassar, Anna was a member of the varsity women’s rowing team. She also co-chaired the Vassar Board of Elections. She is a graduate of Covington Latin School in Covington, KY.

Since joining Palisades Hudson, Anna has been extensively involved in our investment, tax and accounting practices. She helped organize our organization’s first private equity investment vehicle and is responsible for administering an oil and gas partnership with operations in five Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain states. Anna has also served as a staff analyst for the firm’s investment committee, covering U.S. small-cap investments from 2007 to 2009. Anna is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant.

Anna has written several articles in the firm’s quarterly newsletter, Sentinel, including “Onerous New State Tax Rules” (February 2010), “Don’t Bet On Long-Term Care Insurance” (August 2009) and “Retiring On The Backs Of Young Workers” (January 2008).
