David Walters, CPA

David Walters, CPA, joined the Palisades Hudson tax and financial planning practice in 2002 after receiving his B.S. in finance and accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He became a client service manager in 2006. David began his career in the Scarsdale office and transferred to the Fort Lauderdale office in August 2007.
David has had extensive experience in the firm’s tax, investment planning, estate planning and accounting practices.
David is the author of “Tax Planning for a Surviving Spouse” in the October 2006 issue of Sentinel. David also wrote “Overlooked Election: The IRS Shows Mercy” which appeared in the June 2004 issue of Sentinel, and co-wrote “Winning Strategies for Annuity Losses” (June 2003), with Jonathan Bergman.
A Wisconsin native, David was a member of NYU’s varsity golf team throughout his college career and was the team captain as a junior and senior. He was also a winner of the university’s scholar-athlete award for seven semesters.
