Linda Field Elkin has been Palisades Hudson’s director of marketing and human resources since 1995. That period has seen the Palisades Hudson staff grow from two individuals to 19, revenues increase twentyfold, the launch of a registered investment advisor affiliate that now manages approximately $1.25 billion, and the creation of a new office, with its own recruiting and marketing program, in Florida.

Linda earned a B.A. in psychology from Brandeis University in 1978 and an M.B.A. in marketing from the University of Michigan in 1980. Her earlier work included positions at Prentice-Hall and the Reader’s Digest Association, where she was a product manager in the books division.

Linda was co-developer and co-writer of Charitably Speaking, a Sentinel feature that highlights interesting and unusual philanthropies. Her topics have included the Center for Victims of Torture and the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind.
